Honda Battle of the Bands Performs for Thousands

Did you see the 2002 movie, Drumline? It followed the life of Devon Miles, (Nick Cannon) a young drummer from Harlem. He enrolls in a Southern university with big dreams to lead its marching band’s drumline. This is a coveted spot and needless to say the fly-off-the-handle Devon has a lot to learn.

Honda Battle of the Bands (HBOB) is a real competition and it’s extremely competitive. Eight of the country’s best university and college marching bands compete annually. Only one though, can be awarded the victor.
