As a Honda dealership in Houston, TX, that has been serving the community since 1938, we’re passionate about providing our customers a rewarding and supportive experience. We know you come to the Honda brand with expectations for well-engineered vehicles and the latest technology — and safety too.

At Gillman Honda Houston, we feel it is important that our customers are as well informed as possible about our vehicles. We are excited to break down the process through which auto-dimming rearview mirrors accomplish their task.

Auto-dimming mirrors are usually built with two sensors inside that detect the light shining into the mirror. These sensors communicate with a microprocessor that is used to send a charge to a transparent gel that is located between the two pieces of glass that make up the mirror.

Gillman Honda Houston knows vehicles, so trust our team when we say the new 2020 Honda Passport is a keeper. Imagine being able to drive comfortably around Houston for your day-to-day routine outings, and when you want to, take that same vehicle off-road.

The 2020 Honda Passport has a nine-speed automatic transmission with an innovative shift-management system. Basically, when you press the gas pedal, you'll feel the force of a system that allows multiple-gear downshifts but lets you stay in control with paddle shifters.
