A recent edition to the Honda fleet, the Honda Pilot is already among the most popular midsize crossover SUVs on the market. It's svelte but powerful, handles like a champ, and it has plenty passenger and cargo room. A brief but closer inspection reveals other reasons why our Gillman Honda Houston team loves this ride. Here's an overview.
Trims for Everybody
The Honda Pilot comes in six dynamic trims:
- LX
- EX
- EX-L
- Special Edition
- Touring
- Elite
New for 2021
The Special Edition trim is new for 2021 as are many of the Honda Pilot's features. Nine-speed automatic transmission, paddle shifters, dual-zone climate and an automatic stop-start system are now standard on all trims. The Special Edition boasts 20-inch wheels, wireless charging and a liftgate activated by foot. All trims retain midsize crossover SUV characteristics prized among drivers:
- Healthy ground clearance
- Elevated seat height
- Available all-wheel drive
