The holidays are coming and here at Gillman Honda of Houston, we're excited about their arrival! And if there's one thing about the holidays that everyone knows, it's the season for fun, family, and food. Many people may find themselves transporting food back and forth in their cars from their home to their relative’s, and vice versa. But you don't want to end up with a greasy turkey all over your leather seats or mashed potatoes on the ceiling. Here are a few tips to keep your car mess-free while transporting food for the holidays.
First, make sure all of the food is properly contained in containers that have tight-fitting lids that won't pop off. Make sure to perform a spill test before putting it in your car. If possible, place your containers of food in a box to further prevent possible messes from getting in your car. You should also have someone in the backseat to hold onto the box and monitor the food during the drive. Have a happy holiday season!
