Around this time last year, the tenth generation Honda Civic sedan was arriving in dealerships across the country. Now, the Japanese automaker’s perennial compact car is having quite the run of success—one that’s set to grow with the addition of the sporty, efficient, and spacious 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback arriving now.
The Civic hatchback’s styling is based off that of sedan, which includes a chrome bar up front (blacked out on some trims), crisp, aggressive headlamps, and strong character lines. While the fifth door has changed the silhouette a bit, the only other differences include sporty mesh on the front and rear bumpers. For power, two versions of the 1.5-liter turbo are available: one puts out 174 horsepower, and the other 180.
